I am a Postdoctoral research associate in the Subramaniam Lab at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. I plan to study the relationship between translation efficiency and RNA stability.

I grew up in Lynnwood, Washington and I completed my bachelor's degree in Biology at Western Washington University. I received my PhD in Interdisciplinary Biological Sciences from Northwestern University in 2020. During graduate school, I studied the impact of cell signaling on transcriptional bursting during Drosophila development in Dr. Richard Carthew's lab. Outside of science, I enjoy baking, reading, and being a mom.
