I am a Postdoctoral research associate in the Subramaniam Lab at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. I am currently supported by the Chromosome Metabolism & Cancer Training Grant at Fred Hutch.

I grew up in Shoreline, Washington and completed my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Washington in 2010. In graduate school, I worked with Dr. Eduardo Groisman at Yale University studying transcriptional regulation and magnesium homeostasis in the pathogenic bacterium Salmonella enterica and received a PhD in Microbiology in 2016. For my post-doc, I plan to study amino acid metabolism in bacteria and cancer cells. In my spare time, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking and playing the French horn.
