I am an Undergraduate Reasearcher at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center currently studying Medical Anthropology and Global Health at the University of Washington.

A California-born, Seattle-raised student, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and participating in community service. I have previously worked with Maureen Munn and Joan Griswold at the University of Washington Genome Sciences Education Outreach on creating and testing curriculum for high school students using C. elegans followed by interning with the Thompson Studies Group in the Public Health Sciences department at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center researching public health in Yakima Valley.

I began working in the Subramaniam Lab as a summer intern following my senior year of high school in the summer of 2016. I am excited to work in the lab once again and begin experimenting with Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
